Mammotion LUBA 3 and YUKA mini 2 Replacement Blades: When to Flip and When to Replace

When should I flip and replace Mammotion blades?

Mammotion's own pages do not agree, which is why people ask this question. What they say:

• US blade product page: flip the blades at 50 hours, replace at 150 hours. The page notes this was tested on zoysia grass.
• EU blade product page: flip at 50 hours, replace at 100 hours.
• EU blog: replace every 3 months or after roughly 150 hours, and more often on thick lawns.
• US maintenance guide: every 1 to 2 months during the mowing season.

None of these pages gives a separate figure for the LUBA 3 or the YUKA mini 2. A practical reading: flip at 50 hours, replace between 100 and 150 hours, and go earlier on thick, wet or sandy grass. If the grass tips look shredded or brown a day after mowing, the blades are done, whatever the counter says.

Mammotion recommends replacing blades rather than sharpening them, and replacing the whole set together so the disc stays balanced.

Which blades and disc fit the LUBA 3 and YUKA mini 2?

On the Mammotion US store (prices checked 30 October 2026, subject to change):

We could not confirm from Mammotion's pages how many blades each disc carries. The blade pack is described as a 24-blade pack, which retailers describe as three sets of eight for the LUBA 2 and earlier models. Do not assume the LUBA 3 disc takes eight: check the part against your user manual or the app's maintenance screen before ordering.

Mammotion's blade page and some retailers disagree on the replacement hours for the same blades (150 versus 100), so a retailer listing is not a reliable source for the interval.

How do I check if my blades are worn?

Look for these signs, then replace the set:

• Chipped, bent or rounded cutting edges.
• Ragged, brown-tipped grass after mowing.
• A rough sound or more vibration than before.
• Grass wrapped around the disc: clean it first, then inspect.

Mammotion's maintenance advice is to inspect the disc for debris and damage whenever you change the blades.
